Program in detail
Day 01: Nairobi
Upon arrival in the Kenyan capital, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to Nairobi Serena Hotel in the heart of Nairobi. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day 02: Nairobi – Lake Elementaita
After breakfast, you will be picked up by a professional driver guide and driven to Lake Elementaita in the the Great Rift Valley.
This drive takes you through the Eastern walls of the Great Rift Valley where you will stop at the view point for photography. Arrive at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp for check-in and a short rest before lunch.
Afternoon game drive in Soysambu Conservancy.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp.
Day 03: Lake Elementaita – Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast, carry picnic lunch and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for game drive.
Full day in Lake Nakuru with picnic lunch at the shores of the soda lake.
The alkaline soda lake is hydrologically dominated by hot springs. It provides critical refuge lesser flamingo with a population of 1-1.5 million and has high biodiversity value for more than 300 bird species. The shoreline fringe and associated acacia woodland provide critical habitat for the endangered greater White Rhino and other mammals.
Evening drive back to Lake Elementaita.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp.
Day 04: Lake Elementaita – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Naivasha where you will be dropped at Loldia Airstrip for your flight to Maasai Mara.
Upon arrival in Maasai Mara, you will be met and transferred to &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Camp, your home for the next 3 nights. Afternoon gamedrive in the magnificent reserve.
Dinner and overnight at &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Camp.
Day 05 & 06: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
02 full days in Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon gamedrives.
Unquestionably the earth’s greatest haven for large mammals, more than 70 species of which go about their business in the oceanic Serengeti–Maasai Mara grasslands.
Enjoy the luxurious Kichwa Tembo Camp and game drives throughout the Mara; make side trips to the Mara River and its tributaries for a gander at leviathan crocodiles and hippos.
Dinner and overnight at &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Camp.
Day 07: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Fly to the Nairobi using the morning flight. Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met and taken to the nearby Carnivore Restaurant for lunch after which you will be transferred to Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Optional excursions can be arranged at an extra cost.
Dinner on own arrangements.
Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day 08: Nairobi – Depart
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flights back home.
