Day 02: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Buffet breakfast at the Hotel.
Morning drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s finest and best known game reserve.
Arrive for lunch at Mara Sarova Game Camp.
Afternoon game viewing drive.
The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion’s roar, a cheetah making a kill, and the big elephant herds are all very fascinating events. You will also meet the Maasai who are the inhabitants of this reserve and are a proud and largely aloof tribe who have held on to their customs and traditions for hundreds of years.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Game Camp.
Day 03: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Another day spent in the Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the rolling plains, woodland and rivers that make up the Mara. There are very high chances of seeing the ‘big five’
Game viewing is never dull in the Mara, and patience is often rewarded with unique sightings. The richness of fauna, this profusion of winged beauty and the untouched fragility of the landscape, are all subordinate to the Mara’s foremost attraction, the march of the wildebeest. Each year from July to September, the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle, the Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million Wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara, making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon.
All meals at the lodge.
Overnight at Mara Sarova Game Camp.
Day 04: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Buffet breakfast at the Camp.
Morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
Afternoon game viewing drive in the park. The Lake Nakuru National Park is world famous for the pink flamingos which number thousands upon thousands. The rare black rhino, the white rhino and many other wild animals can also be found here. There is a very high chance of seeing the nocturnal and very elusive leopard.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
Day 05: Lake Nakuru – Aberdare National Park
Buffet breakfast at the lodge.
Drive off to the Aberdare ranges. The drive is very scenic and offers memorable photo opportunities.
Arrive for lunch at the Aberdare Country Club. After lunch you will be transferred in hotel vehicles to the
Ark. Afternoon tea and coffee at the tree hotel.
The Ark is set in thick woodland at the heart of the Aberdare National Park and is designed with numerous viewing decks, balconies and lounges that allow you to watch animals visiting the waterhole and salt lick.
A ground level viewing area provides excellent photographic opportunities and a floodlit waterhole allows all-night game viewing.

The verdant riverine forest along the Ewaso Nyiro River is a stark contrast to the arid thorn studded plains. Our driver guide will carefully select an amazing picnic site with a great scenic view where you will take your picnic lunches before venturing into the bush once again! Be on the look-out for the ‘special five of Samburu’, other wildlife and a large number of bird species.
